Continuous rain, strong winds expected in six states, says Meteorological Dept

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 5 — Continuous rain and strong winds are expected to in Kedah, Perlis, Penang and Kelantan until late today.

The Malaysian Meteorological Department, in a statement, said a similar condition was also expected in the districts of Kerian; Larut, Matang and Selama; Hulu Perak, and Kuala Kangsar in Perak, as well as Besut, Setiu, Kuala Nerus, Kuala Terengganu, Marang and Hulu Terengganu in Terengganu.

It also said the districts of Kinta, Kampar, Manjung, Perak Tengah, Bagan Datuk, Hilir Perak, Muallim and Batang Padang in Perak were expected to experience thunderstorm, torrential rain as well as strong winds until late today.

A similar condition is also expected in the Cameron Highlands, Lipis and Raub in Pahang. — Bernama
