PETALING JAYA, July 4 — Organisers of the Affordable Housing Carnival (KPMM), together with the Malaysia Property Expo (Mapex), expect to achieve at least RM1 billion in sales of affordable houses during the event this year.

Mapex Chairman Datuk Ng Seing Liong said the three-day expo,  from Aug 11 at the Shah Alam Convention Centre, will offer some 100,000 affordable houses by over 50 developers.

"The housing carnival will help buyers find their dream homes by offering various types of affordable houses, as well as properties with attractive discounts and promotions, all under one roof,” he told a press conference here today. — Bernama
