KUALA LUMPUR, June 28 ― Traffic flow along major expressways is reported to be smooth and under control as at 9am today.

A spokesman at the Traffic Control Centre of the North South Expressway (PLUS) said traffic  flow is expected to be slow moving by noon with the anticipated increase in the number of vehicles heading towards the federal capital.

"Traffic flow from the north and south is still smooth moving and under control, " he said when contacted by Bernama today.

Meanwhile, a Malaysian Highway Authority (MHA) spokesman said traffic flow on the East Coast Expressway is also still smooth.

"The traffic flow on the East Coast Expressway 1 and 2 is still smooth and under control on both directions,” he said.
