KUALA LUMPUR, June 26 — The wife of abducted Pastor Raymond Koh Keng Joo is seeking a full and updated explanation on the investigation into her husband’s abrupt disappearance 134 days ago.

Susanna Liew Sow Yoke claimed to have been left out of the loop on progress made into the case as asserted yesterday by Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar following a sting on June 17 in Kedah.

"As with the previous announcements made by the IGP to the media about my husband’s abduction on April 6 and May 24, I have not been briefed about any of these so-called developments, leads or arrests by the police. Like the rest of Malaysia, all I know is what I have read in the media,” Liew said in a statement today.

"Past meetings that they had invited me to attend on March 6th and March 23rd were less about actual updates about the case and more about asking me to not engage with the media and to not attend public vigils and gatherings,” she added.

She also urged the police to cooperate in the investigation being carried out by the Human Right Commission regarding Koh’s disappearance.

Koh was forcibly taken away by several masked men from his car while driving on a public road in Petaling Jaya on February 13.

Khalid announced a breakthrough into Koh’s disappearance after police shot dead a suspected arms and drugs smuggler in Perak who is also believed to be involved in the pastor’s abduction.

In April, police said they were investigating allegations that the missing pastor was involved in proselytising to Muslims, which state laws in Malaysia do not allow.

Last month, the police said that they had picked up a suspect linked to Koh’s disappearance.
