KUALA LUMPUR,  June 17 —  Nine Nigerian nationals who are suspected to be involved in drug trafficking in the federal capital were detained by the Special Tactical and Intelligence Narcotics Group (STING) from Bukit Aman, yesterday.

This was confirmed by the Inspector-General of Police, Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar in his Twitter entry today.

He said all the suspects were detained in Setapak, near here, and also seized were one kilogram of drugs believed to be syabu, he said while congratulating STING for the success.

 

"Congratulations, STING @PDRMsia yesterday detained nine Nigerian nationals in Setapak and seized 1 kg of Syabu. #GoPDRMGo,” he said.  — Bernama
