BACHOK, JUNE 13 — The six family members who were killed in a road crash at Kilometre 25 Jalan Bahau-Keratong, Jempol, in Negri Sembilan last Sunday, were buried together in one grave at the Seberang Jelawat Muslim cemetery here today.
The victims — Wan Mohd Fauzi Wan Ibrahim, 51; his wife Mas Noraida M Yusoff, 45, and their four children Wan Muhamad Muhaimin, 22; Wan Nor Atirah, 18; Wan Muhamad Amar Haziq, 13; and Wan Nor Alisha, 7 — were buried at about 3am.
Eight people were killed in the four-vehicle collision which occurred at 2.20pm, including the six family members who were burnt in their car.
The bodies of the six family members arrived in four hearses at about 1 am at the Naim Mosque in Jelawat, where the funeral prayer was held, before they were taken to the cemetery, about a kilometre away, for the burial.
Meanwhile, the couple’s only surviving son, Wan Muhamad Hazim, 19, thanked all quarters for handling the funeral of his parents and siblings. — Bernama
