KUALA LUMPUR, June 12 – PLUS Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) is offering toll rebates of up to 30 per cent to users of its expressway network in conjunction with the upcoming Aidilfitri celebration.

The toll rebates can be enjoyed by motorists in class 1 vehicles (cars or two-axle vehicles) for journeys exceeding 100 kilometres on all expressways under the PLUS network for six days on June 19, 20, 21, 28, 29 and July 3.

PLUS managing director Datuk Azman Ismail said the offer of 30 per cent rebate was for transactions made through PLUSMiles card in appreciation of cardholder loyalty.

"A rebate of 10 per cent will be given to all other electronic transactions including users of the Touch ‘n Go card on the days mentioned,” he said in a statement here today.

Azman said on the dates involved, the public would still need to pay the usual rates but the 30 per cent and 10 per cent rebates would be credited into their Touch ‘n Go or PLUSMiles card when customers reload between July 15 and Oct 17 at PLUS expressway customer service centres.

The rebate, however, will not cover transactions made at the Tanjung Kupang, Bukit Kayu Hitam, Bangunan Sultan Iskandar and Penang Bridge toll plazas. — Bernama
