Putrajaya allocates RM20m to help jobless Bumi youths

JELEBU June 4 — The government has allocated RM20 million this year to implement a mega Bumiputera Youth Entrepreneurship (TUBE) programme, specifically to help youths who are still unemployed and keen to become entrepreneurs.

Deputy International Trade and Industry Minister, Datuk Ahmad Maslan said the allocation was targeted at youths aged between 18 and 30.”

Those who are still unemployed are encouraged to participate in this programme to assist the government produce more young entrepreneurs.

"The selected participants will be trained and equipped with various basic entrepreneurship knowledge before they go into the world of business,” he told reporters after visiting a food processing centre, near here, today.
