Najib visits Paroi Jaya Ramadan Bazaar

SEREMBAN, June 2 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak today joined the people to visit the Ramadan Bazaar near the Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium in Paroi, here.

He arrived at 5pm and spent about 30 minutes walking about the bazaar accompanied by Negri Sembilan Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan .

Najib, who became the centre of attraction at the bazaar, also mingled with the traders and visitors. Some were even spotted taking the opportunity to shake hands and to take pictures with the country's number one leader.

The prime minister bought 'ayam golek' (rotisserie chicken), assortment of Malay traditional 'kuih' (delicacies), otak-otak (grilled fish cake) and Malay traditional dishes.

He also took the time distributing 'bubur lambuk' (porridge) to the visitors in conjunction with the 'Kembara Negaraku' programme.

Najib then attended the Phase Eight of the Village Road Lamp Post project for Negri Sembilan-level at the Paroi Jaya Mosque near here.

Over 100 traders are operating at the Ramadan Bazaar which is popular among the local community. — Bernama
