KUALA LUMPUR, May 14 — A woman and her boyfriend were remanded for a week to facilitate investigations into the death of her son aged two years and 10 months at her house in Jalan Datuk Seri P. Alagendra in Kajang yesterday.

Kajang police chief ACP Othman Nanyan said the police obtained the order to remand the 29-year-old woman and the 39-year-old man, beginning today.

Yesterday, the woman who worked as a nursery assistant took her son to the Kajang Hospital in the morning after the child experienced respiratory problems.
