KUALA LUMPUR, March 8 — Malaysia has never been involved or colluded with any country or allied forces in any operation to attack Yemen, clarifies the Defence Ministry.

The ministry said this in a written reply to Mohd Hatta Ramli (Amanah-Kuala Krai) at the Dewan Rakyat today.

It explained that the Malaysian Armed Forces’ sole purpose to be in Saudi Arabia was to assist in preparing the evacuation mission for the remaining Malaysians in Yemen.

Mohd Hatta had asked the ministry about the claim that Malaysia was in cahoots with the United States, Saudi Arabia and other countries in the attacks against Yemen that had claimed many lives. — Bernama
