KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 24 — A 37-year-old man was charged in the Magistrate’s Court here today with possession of material related to the Islamic State (IS) terrorist group.

No plea was recorded from Hasbullah Hassan, after the charge was read out to him.

He allegedly had in his possession, 10 videos and six photographs of IS in his mobile phone at the HCBC 2 building in Lebuh Ampang here at 12.20pm on Jan 29.

Magistrate Siti Radziah Kamarudin set April 25 remention. 

Deputy public prosecutor Munirah Shamsudin appeared for the prosecution while the accused was unrepresented. — Bernama
