According to a source, also to be charged tomorrow is his 35-year-old son who is alleged to have solicited bribes for his father and himself.
"Both of them were detained today and will be charged in two courts, at Jalan Duta and Shah Alam.
"The secretary-general and his son were detained at about 10.30am this morning at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) office in Kedah,” he told Bernama.
The senior government servant was arrested under Section 16(a)(B) of the MACC Act while his son was held under Section 16(a)(B) and Section 16(a)(A) of the same Act.
