KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 11 — In their haste to flee after robbing used luxury watches from an outlet at a shopping mall in Kepong yesterday, two robbers left behind a pistol.

The robbers, who were clad in long-sleeve T-shirts and hats, had used the firearm to threaten a cashier of the outlet selling watches and jewellery to keep quiet in the incident at about 3pm, said Sentul Police Chief ACP R. Munusamy.

They then ordered the cashier, who is the son of the owner of the outlet, to open a glass case containing used luxury watches and removed several of the watches, he said to reporters tonight.

Munusamy said the robbers fled in a Mercedes Benz car. — Bernama
