KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 28 — Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin revealed classified information from Cabinet meetings when he spoke in Parliament this month, according to Malay NGO Jaringan Melayu Malaysia (JMM).

The group today filed a report at the Dang Wangi district police headquarters against the former deputy prime minister, in which it urged authorities to investigate him under the Official Secrets Act (OSA).

"On October 26, he broke the OSA while revealing all government secrets regarding 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB),” read the report lodged by JMM president Azwanddin Hamzah and sighted by Malay Mail Online.

It also alleged that Muhyiddin did the same during a political speech he made on October 1.

"It also has elements of sedition,” Azwanddin added in his report.

For the October 1 speech, Azwanddin also accused Muhyiddin of committing criminal defamation as listed under Section 499 of the Penal Code.
