KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 18 — Putrajaya does not have knowledge that electoral reforms group Bersih 2.0 has been infiltrated by the Islamic State terrorist group as alleged by Umno's Datuk Seri Jamal Yunos, said the deputy prime minister.

"We have no information," Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi told reporters during a press conference in Parliament today.

Commenting on the clashes between Jamal's "Red Shirts” and Bersih 2.0, Ahmad Zahid, who is also home minister, said the government will prosecute all parties who break the law, especially the Peaceful Assembly Act.

Last month, Jamal alleged that Bersih has been infiltrated by IS and the Bersih 5 rally on November 19 might lead to chaos.

Bersih 2.0 and its chairman, Maria Chin Abdullah, has since sued Jamal for defamation.

Jamal's "Red Shirts” have been hounding Bersih 2.0 on its nationwide roadshow, causing repeated altercations including one last week in which three people were arrested for assaulting reporters covering the Bersih convoy.
