KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 7 — The body of a taxi driver was found in a rolled-up mattress under a pile of clothes in unit of the Danau Kota Flats here yesterday.

A neighbour, who wanted to be known only as Liew, 55, said he often heard quarrelling coming from the house of the 58-year-old taxi driver, who lived with a woman, in her 30s, and a baby girl.

"I always saw a Pakistani man at the house, and on one occasion, the taxi driver was seen to have prevented the foreigner from entering the house,” he told reporters at the scene yesterday.

Meanwhile, Kuala Lumpur CID chief SAC Rusdi Mohd Isa said the report about the discovery of the body was received at about 12.40pm and a press conference on the case would be held today. — Bernama
