TELUK INTAN, Sept 23 — A man who masqueraded as a policeman and committed robberies around Teluk Intan was nabbed on Monday.

Hilir Perak District Police chief, ACP Wan Hassan Wan Ahmad said the 40-year-old suspect was detained at a hotel here a day after robbing a motorcyclist in Kampung Selabak.

"The arrest led to the detention of two more robbery suspects around Teluk Intan, aged 27 and 31 years. A car they used in their activities was also seized,” he told reporters here yesterday.

Wan Hassan said the three suspects had criminal records.

He said the police also detained three men after they robbed a woman in Taman Impian here on September 11. — Bernama
