JOHOR BARU, Aug 7 — Police are looking for a woman and her husband, both in their 30s, for investigation in connection with the abuse of a 14-year-old boy in Kong Kong, Masai here.

Seri Alam District Police chief Supt Jokhiri Abdul Aziz said the couple was believed to have fled after the boy ran away from their house.

He said the boy sought refuge at a surau in the village.

"A villager saw the boy, who was in weak condition, at the surau, at about 9.30pm last Wednesday,” he said in a statement today.

Jokhiri said there were scald and burn marks, scars and bruises on the boy’s body.

The boy claimed that he had been abused by his sister, who is a housewife, and her fisherman husband, he added. — Bernama
