PUTRAJAYA, July 26 ― The Inspector-General of Police today told Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad to list out the intimidation he is allegedly facing from the authorities.

Responding to questions on a foreign report quoting the former prime minister, Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said he was not aware of such incidents.

"Why don't you ask him what kind of harassment and come and tell me,” Khalid said at a press conference after attending the Asean police (Aseanapol) conference today.

Singapore daily The Straits Times today published a report quoting Dr Mahathir as claiming that he and his family members were being harassed to silence their criticism of the government.

The report did not specify the manner of harassment involved.

Dr Mahathir has been one of Putrajaya's staunchest critics, blaming Najib's administration for problems surrounding state-owned 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).
