KUALA LUMPUR, July 25 — Police detained a factory worker suspected of involvement in the fatal shooting of a female real estate agent in Taman OUG in Old Klang Road here on July 6.

City police chief Datuk Amar Singh Ishar Singh in confirming the matter said the 29-year-old man was arrested in Tampoi, Johor on Saturday.

"The suspect has been remanded till Thursday,” he said in a statement today.

Amar Singh said the remand on eight other individuals which expired today has been extended.

He said police were tracking down another suspect who is still at large.

Datin Wong Siew Ling, 32, died instantly while her daughter was injured, when the vehicle they were in was shot at around 2.30pm. — Bernama
