KEMAMAN, April 15 — Nearly 40,000 people attended Dr Zakir Naik’s final lecture in Terengganu which was held at Padang Astaka here tonight.

It was the fourth lecture by the Islamic preacher in Terengganu since arriving in the country on April 9.

Despite the drizzle, people began arriving as early as 7.30pm to hear Dr Naik’s lecture on ‘Muslim’s Choice, Da’wah or Destruction’.

Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman was also among the crowd, consisting of people from various races and religions.

A survey by Bernama found the audience included those from Pahang and Kelantan, some of whom admitted not being fluent in English, but came all the way just to find out and witness the greatness of Dr. Zakir Naik.

Meanwhile, Dr Naik, in his lecture, reminded Muslims to practise the way of life as taught in the Quran. — Bernama
