KUALA LUMPUR, April 7 — The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) suggested today in its report, that 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) transfers all its assets and subsidiaries to the Minister of Finance Incorporated (MOF Inc).

In its report on 1MDB, the panel said this would allow for closer scrutiny of the assets and companies under the state investment firm.

“The subsidiaries and assets belonging to 1MDB (TRX, Bandar Malaysia, Air Itam land, Pulau Indah land) should be handed over to MKD, so it can be regulated and managed more closely,” it recommended, referring to the MOF Inc by its Malay initials.

The PAC tabled its 106-page report on 1MDB in Parliament today.
