Ahmad Bashah announces RM150,000 allocation for private Chinese schools in Kedah

ALOR SETAR, Feb 13 ― An allocation of RM150,000 has been approved for three Chinese Private Secondary Schools (SMPC) in Kedah, Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Bashah Md Hanipah announced last night.

The three schools were SM Keat Hwa and SM Sin Min in Alor Setar and SM Sin Min in Sungai Petani.

Each school is to receive RM50,000.

Ahmad Bashah made the announcement in his speech at the Chinese New Year Peace and Prosperity Carnival organised by the Kedah Chinese Chamber of Commerce and the state government at Tanjung Chali near here. ― Bernama
