KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 2 — Six men believed to be involved in the case of two secondary school students being bullied around Sea Park, Petaling Jaya, were detained by police yesterday.

Petaling Jaya Police chief ACP Mohd Zani Che Din said the suspects, aged 18 to 20, were arrested in separate locations around Petaling Jaya.

He said the police identified the suspects after a video recording of the suspects bullying both 16-year-old victims went viral on social media.

“Police also seized six units of mobile phones belonging to the suspects to facilitate investigations,” he told reporters here today.

All the suspects were remanded for three days beginning today to facilitate investigations.

The 34-second video clip which was uploaded on a Facebook last Saturday showed the victims in school uniform forced to lick the road and bark like a dog. The incident occurred end of January. — Bernama
