KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 31 — The retail price of RON95 and RON97 petrol and diesel will be reduced by 10 sen, 20 sen and 25 sen respectively effective tomorrow.

The new price for RON95 is RM1.75 per litre while RON97 will be sold at RM2.05 per litre said Malaysian Petronas Petrol Station Operators Association president Khairul Annuar Abdul Aziz.

"Diesel will be cheaper by 25 sen (RM1.35 per litre),” he said when contacted by Bernama tonight.

The reduction is seen as the effect of a fall in crude oil prices in the world market.

The retail prices before this was RON95 (RM1.85), RON97 (RM2.25) and diesel (RM1.60).   — Bernama
