SEREMBAN, Jan 15 — Tunku Alif Hussein Saifuddin Al-Amin, youngest son of the Yang Dipertuan Besar (Yamtuan) of Negri Sembilan Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir, died today. He was 31. 

Tunku Alif Hussein passed away at 11.55am at Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz in Kuala Lumpur, according to an official statement issued by Negri Sembilan State Secretary Datuk Mat Ali Hassan.

He said the remains of Tunku Alif Hussein would be brought to Istana Besar Seri Menanti, Kuala Pilah, for a private funeral attended only by close members of the royal family. 

Tunku Alif Hussein was born on September 3, 1984, and was the third and youngest child of Tuanku Muhriz and the Tunku Ampuan Besar of Negri Sembilan Tuanku Aishah Rohani Tengku Besar Mahmud.  — Bernama
