Rizal said a child was rescued from the Land Rover by other road users and sent to the Kota Tinggi Hospital.

He said the Land Rover, heading for Mersing, is believed to have hit a road signboard near the bridge and collided onto the oncoming Toyota Corolla that was going towards Kota Tinggi.
