The MoU would be signed between Syarikat Air Terengganu Sdn Bhd (SATU) and Air Kelantan Sdn Bhd (AKSB) and to be witnessed by Ahmad Razif and Kelantan Menteri Besar Datuk Ahmad Yakob.

“It is to enable Terengganu to channel water to the Pasir Puteh district through the Paya Peda Dam in Besut.

“The water will then be channelled to Bukit Yong and Tok Bali area in Pasir Puteh and hence solve the water woes faced by approximately 600 households. This will involve 150,000 cubic metre of water each month.”

Ahmad Razif said this to reporters after opening the Persatuan Mahasiswa Anak Terengganu (Permata) Secretariat Office and Family Day here today. — Bernama
