SUBANG JAYA, Aug 13 — Malaysian police are in no hurry to question Xavier Andre Justo over claims that he leaked or tampered with documents allegedly stolen from PetroSaudi International, Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said today.

“We haven’t decided whether we want to record his statement or not, let the Thai police do their investigation, after that we will decide whether we want to record his statement.

“There is no hurry,” the Inspector-General of Police told a news conference here when asked whether local police would be attending Justo’s trial in Thailand next week.

Thai police previously denied requests by their Malaysian counterparts to meet and question Justo.

Swiss officials are reportedly involved in the case and have contacted the Thai police, as well as provided a lawyer and other assistance to Justo.
