Report stating tycoon Robert Kuok’s wife found dead false

PETALING JAYA, May 21 — An alleged news report by a Korean news agency that the wife of Malaysian tycoon Tan Sri Robert Kuok was found dead today are false.

According to The Star Online, quoting sources close to the billionaire’s family, the woman was not Kuok’s wife, Ho Poh Lin.

The Yonhap news agency had earlier claimed that a 65-year-old, identified as Kuok’s wife, had been found dead at a hotel from an apparent heart attack.

Police had said that the woman was found in a room at Hotel Shilla in central Seoul at about 12.45pm.
