KUALA LUMPUR, May 20 — Fast food chain Nando’s Malaysia today said it has terminated the employment of an employee who keyed in an expletive on a receipt given to a customer.

Nando’s Malaysia confirmed the sacking on Twitter this evening.

“As of today, the staff in question has been officially terminated from employment,” it said in response to enquiries on the outcome of the incident.

The incident took place on May 17 when a customer at a Nando’s Malaysia branch in IOI City Mall received a receipt that included an expletive typed into the comment section.
