Police: Two Myvi drivers in Duke crash to be charged tomorrow

KUALA LUMPUR, May 7 — Two Myvi car drivers involved in the accident which killed three in a family on the Damansara-Ulu Klang Expressway (Duke) last Saturday will be charged at the Jalan Duta Magistrate Court here tomorrow.

The matter was confirmed by Bukit Aman Traffic Police chief Datuk Mohd Fuad Abd Latiff.

However, he did not give any details about the charge.

Last Saturday, Fairuz Nizam Husain, 35, his wife Nova Safitri Azhari, 25, and their seven-month-old baby girl Nur Firuza Annisa, were killed in the 1.05am crash involving three vehicles at Km6.2 of the Duke Highway.

Following that, police arrested a 31-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman to facilitate the investigation.

Both of them were later released on police bail. — Bernama
