KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 13 — Determined to get answers from Malaysia Airlines (MAS) over the fate of their loved ones aboard Flight MH370, a group of Chinese families have decided to stay the night outside the airlines’ office in Subang Jaya.

The group has reportedly been gathered there since this afternoon, and will stay put until the flag carrier issues its response to their queries.

A statement from Voice370, the self-styled support group for families of those onboard the missing plane, alleged that the group was not provided food or shelter by MAS.

It claimed that out of concern, families of MH370’s Malaysian passengers sent them dinner.

Unhappy with Malaysia’s declaration last month that the plane was an accident with no survivors, around 15 Chinese relatives arrived in Malaysia late Wednesday night with questions over the flight for which no evidence of its fate has been found.

Dressed in red shirts printed with the words “Pray for MH370”, they have not forgotten even as international attention has died down over what is viewed as a mystery in aviation history.

“Who can tell us what happened? Please help us! Come back MH370,” read a placard, summing up their emotional plea.

Yesterday, after staging a protest outside MAS’s office, the group handed a letter addressed to MAS chief executive officer Ahmad Jauhari Yahya to the airline’s officials at the Subang airport.

According to Kelly Wen, whose husband Li was on the flight, MAS promised to reply in three days.

MAS flight MH370, a Boeing 777 jetliner carrying 239 people, disappeared off the coast of Kota Baru, Kelantan, less than an hour after take-off at 12.41am on March 8 and has remained missing ever since.
