KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 11 — Police have arrested an Indonesian woman, believed to be mentally unstable, for walking naked in broad daylight last Friday.
Kuala Lumpur CID chief SAC Zainuddin Ahmad said the woman, in her 20s, was later handed over to Kuala Lumpur Hospital for mental treatment.
The woman was seen removing her clothes one by one while walking from Masjid Negara to Kampung Atap at noon.
“We received information about the incident from the traffic policeman on duty,” he said when contacted by Bernama, here today.
Zainuddin said investigation revealed that depression had caused the woman to act in such a manner.
