SHAH ALAM, Dec 30 — Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) today announced the postponement of the start of the second lecture session for students in the Group A pre-diploma, foundation and diploma programmes at all branch campuses due to the floods ravaging several states.
UiTM vice-chancellor Tan Sri Prof Dr Sahol Hamid Abu Bakar said the session for students at the Kelantan, Terengganu, Johor and Kedah campuses would only begin on January 11 and in the campuses in other states, on Jan 12. The session was originally scheduled to begin on Monday. He said in a statement that as such, the holidays revision week scheduled for March 23 to 29 would be cancelled.
Sahol Hamid advised all UiTM students to work out their transport arrangements as the start of the 2015 school session had also been postponed to the same dates. — Bernama
