KUALA LUMPUR, July 30 — The traffic flow in several main highways in the Peninsula is smooth as of 9am.

A Plus Expressway Traffic Control Centre spokesman said traffic heading south from the Sungai Besi toll plaza was reported to be flowing smoothly.

“An accident occurred at KM 94.9 northbound from Sungai Petani to Gurun but traffic remained smooth,” he told Bernama here today.

Meanwhile, a spokesman at the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) said the traffic flow at the Kesas Expressway and New Pantai Expressway (NPE) was smooth as of 9am.

LLM’s twitter reported that an accident occurred at KM 42.8 northbound from Sedenak to Simpang Renggam; traffic subsequently returned to normal.
