Only a few stretches report traffic congestion at noon

KUALA LUMPUR, July 30 — Traffic was reported to be moving smoothly on all highways leading to the north, south and east coast as at noon today.

A spokesman for the Plus Expressways traffic control centre said traffic heading south from the Sungai Besi toll plaza was reported to be flowing smoothly.

“An accident occurred at Km415.9 on the northbound lane between Bukit Tagar and Lembah Beringin but traffic flow remained smooth,” he told Bernama.

Meanwhile, a spokesman of the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) said traffic flow along the Kesas Expressway and New Pantai Expressway was smooth as at noon.

LLM tweeted that an accident occurred at Km139 on the southbound lane between Sungai Dua and Juru and traffic was slow in both directions.
