KEMAMAN, May 17 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Najib Tun Razak attended the wedding reception of the daughter of former Terengganu Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Said at his residence in Teluk Kalong, here today. 

Melaka Yang Dipertua Negeri Tun Mohd Khalil Yaakob, Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek and Second Education Minister Datuk Seri Idris Jusoh were also present at the reception. 

Ahmad's daughter, Nor Ashahirah, 27, was married to Mohd Syahirpaul Redzuan Musa, 28, on May 9. 

More than 10,000 guests including VIPs attended the reception which began at 10am

On Thursday, the Prime Minister had stated his intention to be present at the wedding reception of Ahmad's second child before leaving for a three-day visit to the United Arab Emirates at the invitation of Crown Prince Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed Zayed Al Nahyan.  — Bernama
