KUALA LUMPUR, May 14 — The slip road from Jalan Ma’arof to Sprint Highway (Petaling Jaya bound) and the U-turn to return to Petaling Jaya at the Jalan Ma’arof interchange will reopen at 8 am tomorrow.

Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp) strategic communication and public relations director Amir Mahmood Razak said however, night closures might still be implemented from time to time as the construction of the Pusat Bandar Damansara MRT Station was still in progress.

“The night closures at the slip road and U-turn will be announced two days before the closure. The closures are implemented at night to minimise traffic jam,” he said in a statement today.

He said the works included construction of piers at the median of the Sprint Highway and lifting of segmental box girders to form the guideway.

The slip road and U-turn had been closed twice, namely from March 18-July 31 last year and from August 4-May 14. — Bernama
