KUALA LUMPUR, May 12 — After hearing a thud, a security guard was shocked when he went to check at the scene and discovered the body of a young woman who had fallen off the 21-storey Menara Umno building in George Town, Penang, the Star Online reported today.

“Upon checking the premises, I found a body of a young woman lying on the floor beside the building.

“The impact had also damaged a zinc roof of an empty storage building beside the Menara Umno,” the Star quoted the guard as saying.

Authorities later found a pair of shoes at the 18th floor of the building.

The Star reported that police at the scene were seen seizing a silver Perodua Viva parked beside Menara Umno, believed to be the car driven by the deceased.
