Christology is the study of the life of Jesus Christ based on the records of his disciples in the New Testament.

“Every Jesus follower should enter Islam, if not it would be a betrayal to Jesus,” Indonesian lecturer Insan L. S. Mokoginta told a thousand-strong audience that included former Malaysian prime minister Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.

Christians believe Jesus Christ, whom they call their saviour, to be the manifestation of God on earth.

Citing passages from the Bible, Insan also listed 10 examples to support his argument, including a verse in the Book of Leviticus, from the Old Testament, which allegedly forbids the consumption of pork as pigs are “unclean”.

“He (Jesus) even admitted to being sent by God. In other words, Jesus is not God but is a prophet,” he said.

Islam is the only “true religion” acknowledged by Allah, he added.
