KANGAR, 15 Mac — The Perlis Islamic Religious and Malay Customs Council (MAIPs) has launched a “Pray for MH370” campaign, urging Muslims in the state to pray for the passengers and crew of the missing Malaysia Airlines (MAS) Flight MH370.
The campaign was launched by the Crown Prince of Perlis Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail, who is also MAIPs president in conjunction with the 2014 Seventh series of the Hijrah Minda programme, organised by MAIPs, at the National Youth Skills Institute (IKBN)’s Surau An-Nur, National Youth Skills Institute (IKBN) in Kuala Perlis, near here last night.
Also present were exco member Mat Hassan, Perlis Baitulmal Chairman Datuk Abu Bakar Ahmad and about 500 of Kuala Perlis IKBN students.
Earlier in the afternoon, he participated in the 20th “MAIPs Peduli” cycling programme for a 16-km distance at the compound of Sekolah Kebangsaan Kubang Gajah, Arau.— Bernama
