Nusajaya, Jan 26 — The government will continue to provide the best education and up to date information to the youths in the country to help them make informed decisions on various matters , said Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak. 

According to the Prime Minister, the era in which the government knew what was the best for youths was over.

“The government’s approach has to change, the government needs to provide accurate information and the best education to Generation Y ( youths ) so that they can make informed decisions. 

“This is the right approach. They (Generation Y) should be given information and knowledge so that they can make the right decisions,” he said when opening the Gen Y Fest 2014 at the Educity Sports Complex here today.

Also present were his wife Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin. — Bernama
