KEMAMAN, Dec 13 — The Kemaman district recovered fully today from the recent floods after the 324 evacuees remaining at four relief centres returned to their homes.

The flood operations room of the Kemaman District Office reported that the evacuees, from 77 families, were allowed to leave for their homes at 11.45 am.

The last of the evacuees to return to their homes numbered 150 from the relief centre at Dewan Seri Amar in the Cukai state constituency.

The flood operations room was closed following the closure of the relief centres.

The floods, which struck last week, had forced the evacuation of close to 20,000 people to 46 relief centres. — Bernama
