TNB supplies generator sets to flood evacuation centres

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 8 — In lieu of the flood situation in Pahang, Terengganu and Johor, Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) has supplied more than 60 generator sets worth RM715,000 to temporary evacuation centres in the states.

In addition, TNB has also contributed many basic essentials, including second-hand clothes, cooking ingredients and bedding, to meet the daily needs of the flood victims, according to a TNB press release today.

The items were delivered to Kampung Paya Merah, Labis and Sekolah Kebangsaan Bandar Mersing in Johor, the Royal Malaysian Air Force in Kuantan and the Kemaman and Hulu Terengganu district offices in Terengganu. — Bernama
