KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 1 — MCA vice president Datuk Donald Lim Siang Chai said he will be making an announcement on Tuesday as to whether he will be going for the president or deputy president at the party’s polls scheduled for December 21.

He said that he would be making the announcement at 10am on Tuesday at Wisma MCA, Jalan Ampang here.

“It will be either the president or deputy president post, just wait for the announcement,” Lim (picture) said when contacted by Bernama.

So far, only MCA deputy president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai, vice president Gan Ping Sieu and former president Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat have stated that they would be going for the president post.

Meanwhile, MCA Youth chief Datuk Wee Ka Siong on Wednesday had announced that he would be going for the Number Two post. — Bernama
