ALOR SETAR, Nov 13 — A traffic detour will be made at KM38.1 until KM39.1 (southbound) on the North-South Highway, here tomorrow beginning at 9am until 1pm.

Projek Lebuhraya Utara Selatan (PLUS) said in a statement today that the detour between Jitra and Hutan Kampung, was made to facilitate an emergency drill organised by PLUS, Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah (HSB), Alor Setar and the authorities.

The emergency drill was being held to test the level of efficiency and skill of the rescue team when facing traffic accidents.

As such, road users are advised to be wary and to obey all instructions issued by PLUS and the police. — Bernama
