PETALING JAYA, Oct 24 — Police are still searching for the bank security guard who shot and killed a bank operations officer last night.
The security guard worked at the same bank as the victim. He was reported to have shot Noazita Abu Talib with a pump-action shotgun when the latter and a colleague were opening a safe in the bank at Jalan USJ Sentral 2 at 6.18pm yesterday.
The Star reported that Subang Jaya Deputy OCPD Supt Tan Ah Chua said that a taskforce has been formed to investigate the case and capture the suspect. A photo of the suspect taken from a CCTV screen shot has already been distributed to the media. The suspect had escaped on a motorcycle and was last seen wearing his white security guard uniform. It is suspected he holds a fake Malaysian IC with the name of Ardi Hamza from Tawau, Sabah.
