BANTING, Oct 18 — The widow and son-in-law of a man were charged along with two teenage youths in the Telok Datok Magistrat

R. Yagavali, 50, and P. Gunalan, 28, were charged along with P. Keeshor Kumaar and R. Dhasarathi Naidu, both 19, with the murder of P. Sukumaran, 62, at a house in Kampung Sungai Sedu, Banting, between 7 pm on Oct 4 and 6 am the following day.

All the four accused nodded that they understood the charge after the Tamil interpreter read it out to them before Magistrate Raja Noor Adilla Raja Mahyaldin.

No plea was recorded. The court set Nov 25 for mention of the case.

Yagavali and Gunalan were not represented by counsel. Keeshor Kumaar was represented by counsel V. Ayasamy and Dhasarathi Naidu by counsel Ratchel Suppiah. Prosecuting officer Ridhuan Abdullah appeared for the prosecution. — Bernama
